AAES POWER GENERATION | PEAKING UNITS

Since inception, AAES has been involved in the engineering, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas turbine generation plants. AAES' Engineers and Construction Manager has a broad base of experience with power project development and construction management, including eight (8) LM6000 turbine packages in Tucuman, Argentina, two LM 6000 packages in Esquinta, Guatemala, and Contra Costa Power Plant Unit No. 8, using GE Frame 7 combustion turbines combined cycle.

  

AAES provided the AFC application and licensing process for many construction sites. Since AAES inception, AAES has provided technical support during the AFC Licensing process to clients developing the Pittsburg District Energy Facility, the Pastoria Energy Facility, and the Roseville Energy Facility. AAES managed the local CEQA permitting process for peaking plants for Calpeak (7 sites in congested city areas), Coral Energy, California Dairies, and Enron (Lodi and Pleasanton), and has been providing technical support to permitting efforts in other states including Washington, Oregon, Montana, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
