AAES GENERAL ENGINEERING | TYPICAL PROJECT LIST

US NASA – Space Shuttle – 2003 to 2005

AAES was contracted by NASA to design-build High Pressure Pumping LN2 System for the Space Shuttle Test Facility in the State of MS. The systems supplied by AAES included automatic pumping system consisted of 3 pumps skid, vaporizers, and 27,000 gallons storage vessel. The pumps were designed to take suction from the LN2 storage vessel at 50 psig & -320 degrees and pumping the liquid to 6000 psig (one stage) thru the vaporizers and then routed to the base of the Space shuttle Rocket at different pressures to displace the Hydrogen and Oxygen to prevent an explosion. In Addition to the above, this system included A-B PLC-5, Panel View 550, RediPanel push –button operator interface, Ronan X110 enunciator, flow computer, 480 VAC MCC, UPS and battery. The system was designed to meet the cleanliness levels of MIL-STD-1246B, Inspection Radiographic of MIL-STD-453C, Inspection Liquid Penetrant of MIL-STD-6866, and Magnetic Particle Examination ASTM E-1444.

US Air Force – Atlas Rocket Program – 1992 to 1993

AAES was contracted by US Air Force to design-build High Pressure Pumping LN2 System for the Atlas Rocket Project at the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The systems supplied by AAES included automatic pumping system consisted of 3 pumps skid, vaporizers, and 27,000 gallons storage vessel. The pumps were designed to take suction from the LN2 storage vessel at 50 psig & -320 degrees and pumping the liquid to 8200 psig (one stage) thru the vaporizers and then routed to the base of the Space Rocket at different pressures to displace the Hydrogen and Oxygen to prevent an explosion.

PG&E – SCADA PROJECT – 2004 to 2007

AAES was contracted to provide preliminary engineering studies, cost estimates, engineering, design drafting, project management, construction, inspection and startup for 35 SCADA Sites Projects at PG&E sites. AAES worked with PG&E Telecom Department, surveyed the type of RTU the number of I/Os, and the type of communication link for each site. AAES recommendation was to reduce the numbers of leased lines, maximizing the use of PG&E communication network, and reducing the number of Load Centers. AAES worked with the PG&E Telecom Engineers to select and standardize the type of RTU. AAES had completed the engineering, the design, the drafting and construction of 35 sites and provided the final revision and as-built drawings to the O&MI Manuals.

City and County of San Francisco – Streets Upgrade Projects - 2007 to 2009

AAES constructed major streets and highways in the City of and the County of San Francisco. The work completed, included Concrete (base, ramps, sidewalk, parking strips and gutter), Asphalt, Grinding, Under Ground Utilities, Parks and recreation and Electrical Systems. Our clients provided unsolicited letters of recommendations by stating the quality of work, professional behavior and the safety of our personnel were second to none, not to mention the public and the City Properties such as MUNI overhead lines, and MUNI access to streets.

Several Clients - General Building

AAES have completed many projects in this arena across several sectors:
